Had an awful experience with this surgery. I needed an appointment with the GPs here to pick up my medication. The receptionist clearly wanted nothing to do with me from the moment she saw me and didn't care at all that I might be left without needed medication if she couldn't help me. I managed to get her her to call my GP at home to see if they could help, as they'd told me it should be very straightforward. They offered to fax through information to help but this wasn't good enough. She didn't even attempt to empathise, spoke to me very rudely and shouted my personal information all over the crowded waiting room. I believe she was trying to embarrass me into leaving her alone. I sent an official complaint. The head of practice told me they didn't think she'd done anything wrong, was clearly more worried about getting in trouble than helping anyone.

Went in to enquire about some tests, the receptionist said someone would call me then I hear nothing for 3 weeks and when I call back to ask they had no idea what I was on about! Then proceeded to say someone will call back the next day, which they did, although that resulted in them saying the doctor will call me the next working day, which they didn't. When I called to chase them up they put me on hold for ages only to then say they don't do those tests and I should find somewhere else! Overall really inefficient, rude receptionists whose only purpose seems to be to intimidate patients and waste their time.

The receptionist can be very rude and unhelpful , very unpleasant and can often speak in an aggressive mannor. One in particular is very cheeky and has terrible manners.

The doctors are amazing! But they need new receptionists. I tried phoning everyday for a week to get an appointment and was to come in in the morning to try and get one. They open at 8, I arrived at the surgery a little after 8:15am and was told all the appointments for the day were taken. When I went back at 2pm for an unrelated appointment, I explained to a different receptionist what had happened that morning, she said that can’t be possible as she took the last available appointment for the day at 9:20, an hour after I had been in. Literally the WORST reception staff ever.

The staff are very willing to help you as best they can with whatever issue you have. Several times the staff, both receptionists and doctors, have gone out of their way to make sure I'm able to receive quality healthcare.
